In 1989 Gary Blehm established the PENMEN® brand with a series of popular posters and local comic strip. By 1995 Blehm had sold 60,000 prints, published a book, and saw his completely wordless comic strip syndicated in newspapers. In 2005 Blehm animated PENMEN® for European television and sent the files to London by satellite dish off the deck of a mountain cabin in Colorado.

Today PENMEN® Studios has found home in Nashville, Tennessee. Currently Blehm is offering acrylic painted works on canvas. .
